Hey guys and gals, this is an article about my uncle. His name is Jason White. He is a 10 year, 6 tour Marine Veteran and he is also gay. Him and his fiancé are being denied their marriage license. I just wanted to share his story and get it out there.

That is an awesome story. It sucks they are having a hard time. My husband is a Combat Vet 14 year Army Infantryman. He has had a rough start to Civilian life. I hope things gets better for your uncle.I hope things gets better for all our Veterans.

Good news! They ended up giving them the marriage license!! I guess the county didn't want the bad press because the NY Times and Washington Post were ready, along with all the local news agencies, to run the story if they were denied. My day was made seeing their faces when it got accepted.

Congradulations to your uncle and his husband. Love does not care about gender,race,looks.Love will always win. I know there happy and its heart warming to see your support for them. I wish them the best of luck! If they didnt give them there license even though i dont know you nor your uncles i would've raised hell along side you.
