Battlefield Hardline DLC leak, release date: Maps, forests and new neighborhoods to be included in June DLC
Battlefield Hardline, already in the loop for several months now, is plugged with a new DLC called Criminal Activity, according to the gameplay revealed by EA and Visceral games, due next month.
The game's mission is to assist their police to stop "well trained and aggressive criminals" who are threatening the city.
DLC will have four maps on display. The first map, Code Blue, is referred to club level. In this level, game users will swarm a dance hall in quest of justice, only to be distracted by televisions and lasers used inside the club. In the second stage called The Beat, the players will run down on different streets and alleys – possibly car chases on wide roads and narrow alleys. Backwoods, the third map, will take the players into the forest to ramble around a logging operation. Lastly, Black Friday, the fourth map, will make players run around stores to have close combats in an abandoned mall, including some possible car chases.
The pack will include a new game mode, called the Bounty Hunter, which has a storyline as well. Other new inclusions in the pack are two new rides, two new ammunition types for specific weapons, new gadget, three new weapons, nailgun battle pickup, and six new masks where two are animal masks and four are new police head gear options.
Nonetheless, there are no other released detail regarding the new gears, gadgets, and inclusions aside from what Game producer Zach Mumbach said that there will not be airplanes because the players will not be needing it in the close-quarter missions.
Players who have Battlefield Hardline season pass will get the DLC pass two weeks ahead, while the rest will see it on June. Battlefield Hardline Premium will include three other features aside from Criminal Activity, namely Battlefield Hardline: Robbery in summer 2015 featuring head on battles and advancement to other key locations, Battlefield Hardline: Getaway in autumn 2015 showcasing high speed chases and theft, and Battlefield Hardline: Betrayal in winter 2016 highlighting disloyalty among the players.
