Ok you guys, starting next month I am going to give away 1 game of choice to the person who has the most verified new threads on the forums and contributes the most on xbl for his unit.
The threads "MUST" be quality threads which means you can not just start a thread and not have any views or replies on it ... It will be up to you to stay updated on your threads and to see if anyone rates them and or is viewing them and replying to them ...
Here are some tips on how to create a quality thread:
- Look around the internet for a good looking image to add to the first post of your thread so that the thread looks a bit professional
- Make sure you are using proper grammar and punctuation ... make your thread as professional as possible
- Add as much information in your thread as possible, talk about upcoming games, ideas for the forums or the clan, anything that you think will create a good discussion on the forums
- Promote your article on the facebook or on twitter, use it as a recruiting tool or anything that can possibly help the clan
You guys can get a head start to see what kind of reception or reaction you get from everyone on the forums to test out your writing skills. This is my way of trying to bring back some fun in the clan, the forums and to raise activity on the forums as well ...
DO NOT spam the forums with bullshit threads or posts ... If this goes good by the end of this month I will probably give out more than just 1 video game and give out 2 video games and possibly some headsets and who knows maybe a brand new XBOX 1 or PS4 ...
It is up to you guys as clan members to convince me to give away stuff each month ...
Beastmode suggested that we make a subscription on the forums which I think I am probably also going to use for VIP members to be eligible each month to win bigger prizes if they subscribe each month to this VIP membership in the clan. The VIP membership would probably be around $15 - $20 a month and that would automatically enter you in the monthly giveaway.
We have a lot of members in the clan and if the VIP membership could generate a good amount of money I see prizes like game consoles, gaming monitors, headsets and even big screen tvs being given away each month.
If we get 30 - 50 VIP memberships every month that would be enough to giveaway prizes like big screen tvs each month.
I will be getting with the rest of the officers who want to help with this monthly giveaway to refine the details on how to go about this the right way.
So the ball is in your court you guys, if you guys want a chance to win prizes and I mean good prizes each month start working your your threads and start saving your $20 a month so you can become a VIP member to enter the monthly VIP member giveaways !!!!
