My old Motherboard gave way, had the machine for about 6 years or so. I'm looking to just play maybe "some games" and do the Graphic Design stuff ... Thoughts ?

Depends on the ram. You'd want to upgrade that GPU at some point as well. Not sure on the CPU... Some of the newer Intels are more desirable than others.

What do you mean by data? You can just pull your old HD and put it in with the other, that case supports at least 2 if not more I think

It's really just if your old HD will plug into your motherboard. Find out what that new one is like AM3, AM3+ and then just see what brand/model your old HD is and you should be able to look at the specs for it and see what it fits into.

Also depends what your trying to play on that PC as well. I think there is a site out there where you can plug in your setup and get benchmarks like how many frames it will do for certain games. Plus you can always run a slight overclock but the more you overclock it the faster your components will wear out. Don't forget cooling as well, very important with PC. Not a bad idea to have a fan for the GPU as well as the CPU and an outtake fan as well especially if you overclock.

Insurgency. It has the most realistic damage model of any game I have ever seen. CS is cool but it gets boring IMO. Arma is great and super realistic but if your playing solo then your gonna wanna fuck your own face after 5 minutes.
