Any Home Audio Wizards?

So I was keeping a co-worker move Monday and during the process I was offered some speakers that looked of a high quality as she was just going to give them to goodwill so I took em.

I'm trying to figure some things out and need some help.

From what I have gathered the sub is a PSB image subsonic 6. What I can't figure out is - was there a head unit/amp separate or is it built in?

If I'm missing the amp would it be worth investing in and would said amp have aux to plug my phone right up to?

Are these things any good? Used price wise IE could I flip it for a profit. Got 3 fairly generic PSB highs as well but judging from the inputs on the back of this one



It's not generally what you see on lower quality stuff like



So any help is appreciated. Figured it take a shot before I try a home audio board somewhere.

Most highs and mids will have the port for just the wire and subs will have the quick ports as commonly referred to all you should really need is a receiver as most woofers for home theatre have built in amp and receiver will also have one built in generally

I bought my pioneer reciever new for like 180. You can find good deals online. Also check classifieds as people upgrade and tend to want to get rid of old receivers without things like optical ins or hdmi ins which you dont need for playing music. Any old reciever will have some sort of auxillary in that you can use to plug in an mp3 player
