I'm on the exact same page, Brian.
I don't think I was able to play one game of domination this weekend without seeing that glitch. We even had a guy on our team using it - he was talking trash and calling is idiots because we weren't going to use it. We straight up told him that we were going to report him; and on a side note I went in on that game and scored nearly double what he had... Who's invincible and who's the idiot now?
I've have a few discussions about this glitch and I know exactly how it works.. If it's not one thing it's another in this game.
TDM style modes you have people glitching inside and on top of buildings; Uplink has spawn glitches, and now and game mode with multiple rounds has a god mode glitch.
I'm not sharing this next part for people to go out and exploit the glitch; but rather to let you understand how it works.
Say round one of domination you get a Goliath. Save it for round two - as soon as the round starts call in your Goliath and as you are climbing into it change your class (if you change fast enough at the beginning of a round you don't have to wait until you die to switch class). What this does is acts as if you are in a Goliath - increased health, etc.. But since you switched classes during the animation you are running around with your new weapon in your hands. You are invincible, infinite self destruct, you are God (but you still suck).
The only way people can die while in this glitch is by falling off the map.
It's bull and they need to fix this stuff. This makes me wish I was good enough for MLG - this stuff doesn't exist; et that also makes it more competitive.
This scares me looking into BO3 since it is still looking to be futuristic and looks of Eco suit style play. I'm just thankful that it is Treyarc - they tend to do a better job at monitoring and correcting in game issues.
But back to my point - I am with you 100% Brian.
I may still play the game, but I'm done trying to play CW against a bunch of glitching cheaters. I enjoy competition, but not when you can't do anything.
I could ramble on about this for awhile, but you catch my two cents. Thanks for posting this.
