I am personally a fanatic for my Razer Chimera 5.1... they are seriously comfortable, bulky but lightweight cant even feel they're there halve the time. They connect via toslink right out the back of your 360 and transmit game and system audio directly into the dolby surround sound earcups. Light 2.5mm cable for communication has a right angle on one end so you can turn the wire down away from your hands so it doesnt rub or get in the way.

I remember the first time I used them in game i was sittting on my couch facing my telivision playing the cargo map on blops2 and a grenade went off somewhere behind me to the left, and i spun around towards the sound as if it had actually went off in my kitchen behind me.. took me a few games to get used to the realism of the sound direction and now i use it to my advantage to be able hear if i am being snuck up on when i am camping.

They're a little more expensive then most but i would recommend them if you can afford them.
