Headsets

I was filling out my profile and saw the headset option and WOW!!! What are some good recommendations? I've only had my Xbox one for about four days so I've been using the stock headset and it seems OK. I used to use my Beats by Dre headphones on the PS4 and never had an issue. Now that I plan on being online more I don't want to use those.

I have the 99 dollar pair of beaches from GameStop. If you go with Astros get the a-50 or 55s I think. There a lot more money but you won't be upset.

I just picked up the Astro A-50 Wireless ... There a pretty penny to Spend . But the sound quality is amazing .
And there lightweight and comfortable for them long gaming hours .

ive had turtle beaches for a few years now and ive been very impressed with them recently i upgraded from still using my x12s and got me some xo fours. plugging them directly into the controller they sounded great but i couldnt get them to work correctly while trying to use my elgato so i returned them today and got me some Razer Krakens just using them for a little i can definitely tell that the sound quality and comfort surpass that of the xo fours plus them being the Razer they are designed for the computer but have the 3mm cable needed to use them for the one you can use them for computer gaming and most consoles. they also have a retractable mic so if youre wanting an over the ear headphone for music listening then you can use these without having a mic hanging off your face. if youre on a budget these were not all that bad costing less then the co fours.

my first impression on these is good and thats what this reply is based off of but i have no clue how well these do for wearing for a long time or how well they will be in the future but my current suggestion are the Razer Krakens if you want to know more hit me up in a week or two and ill let you know how they have done for me

I did have turtle beaches, but the mic on it kept making this weird sound. Then I found out about Astros, and have never looked backed since. The a40s are pretty much the go to headset. The a30s are a good pick also. The sound quality you get from the headset and mixamp is really good. The cool thing with the astro mixamp is if you hook the USB cord into your computer, you can play music through them. This way you can use pandora, youtube, spotify, and itunes to play anything you want.

I currently have the Astros a40s (also everything you need is included) and I absolutely love them. I can hear people using exo moves on AW even with them having blast suppressor (it's a very faint sound though). When I first started gaming I had the default 360 mic until the summer after I got my 360 then I bought some turtle beach x3's and I loved that headset until I was able to buy the astros. If your looking for wireless headset go with the a50 but if you want wired go with the a40. On the mix amp that you get you are able to hook it up to your computer via USB cable but also the USB can strictly be used for power from the 360 (if left plugged into 360 and you forget to turn the mix amp off it will stay on). Also you can plug your phone into the mix amp by using the cord that comes with the headset in the mp3 jack on the back of the mixamp. I have also had tritton ax pros but they weren't comfortable for long gaming sessions, the turtle beach headsets and astro headsets are much more comfortable but it's also a preference of mine.
