Clan Wars Free Agency

With the start of free agency for the clan wars roster my team has released blood master and gaming mercenary. And signed CAG QUEEN, Muffstache, and Big Verse to the team.

Looking forward to see the rest of the captains start using free agents also.

If only Free Agency actually existed for Clan wars. I give your efforts an A though but unfortunately your roster is the same as it was last clan wars lol.

Yes there is if there can be trades then we can pick up free agents not placed on a team yet.

No there's not. When I get the list I asked for from each platoon, we will extend benches accordingly and all "Free Agents" will be evenly distributed amongst all the teams. This isn't a first come first serve basis. That's a good way to fix 1 Squads problems while neglecting the others. The very same thing we're going to AVOID doing so that all teams have an equal chance of going into Clan Wars and having success from the start.

I still think teams should be redrafted every war. All predators post availability, team leaders chosen based on available players after benches. Leaders pick players one by one after drawing straws for first pick.

This is the only Clan wars that we will not have re-drafted. There's a reason for this. Last Clan Wars there were some issues with communication, there were some issues of people not showing up to the times they committed to. The idea is to correct these issues and just extend the benches for the time being. When we have 50+ players committing to a Saturday Clan war of 4 hours and we only have 25 or so show up that's a problem.

I understand we killed it on Friday and had a huge lead but if we were facing stiffer competition that could have been the game breaker for us. So the idea right now is to extend the benches rather then making a team for every 6-7 players that join the roster. Fact is not everyone will make the Clan Wars each time we have one. If you take your 6 best players who you KNOW will be active and be there if they say they will be and then have say 2 others that are saying they will be active and want a shot then we place them on a team that's in need of players or if all teams are ready to rock and roll for Clan Wars then we form a team out of them.

If we go into this Clan Wars and we don't have an issue with communications / activity on the 2nd day etc. Then next Clan Wars we will be again re-drafting teams. For right now though, we need to work on the key elements to success when facing tougher competition and as we continue to win in the fashion we have been you can believe that our competition will get much much stiffer. That's why we stay the same for this Clan Wars, we need to tighten up our game.

Interesting topic. I can see both points of view.

On one hand its nice to have set teams. Its helps the preparation, flow of game, and familiarity of the team. People know who they are with and how to play with them. Communication really is essential in any team game and set teams could help improve that.

On the other hand having drafts will improve the clan as a whole. Ensuring players learn to adapt to fit the needs of a situation. Learn to effectively communicate to players not familiar with their style or abilities. This method also forces players to play with different people. I have noticed there are a few players that normally just play with their little group.

personally, regarding set teams or a draft, I have a field of fucks I planted. See the results of this below.

just what I thought. Nothing ever grows in that field. If and when I participate in clan wars I dont care how its done. The task remains the same. Kill enemies, win games, wash rinse repeat.
