I just had an interesting idea. Perhaps not a new one. Triggered by frazzledyou's post on asking what is going on in Alpha Company with the transition from 360 to x1 starting. But it made me think of other good information that could be presented in a unique way. A way for the leadership or management to give us an insight into plans, upcoming changes, or the usual "proud of you" posts. (If they so desired lol) Not sure who, if anyone, would want to be responsible for such a project.

Other things that could be included:
Organizations changes (Adding of a Company)
Promotions, new members completing two weeks, current recruit count
stats (most posts a member his month, most members online at a time, etc
map tips, gear tips, etc

basically a monthly, one page, newsletter highlighting a variety of stuff that might exist in 6 or 7 threads in one handy little spot. Just a thought to inspire some discussion.

A "Newsletter" would be great but getting people to put together all the information is the problem .. I have already asked in the past for help with writing articles for our main page not the forums and people say they will help out but never do anything about it ..

I would do it all myself but I do have to work and maintain the website so I wouldn't have time to do both ...

A "Weekly Newsletter" would be ideal but a month one would also do the trick which would require less manpower and time to produce ...

But if we could get a team of volunteers for an "Editorial Team" or "Editorial Board" who would meet every week to put together the newsletter that would be a start ...

So anyone and everyone who is interested in being a volunteer writer for a newsletter or editorial team just post here that you are interested and we'll go from there ...

Well if you can start on a simple article for me to post on the main page to see what kind of reaction we get that would be good ... Pick a topic and give it a go ...now remember, your work "will" be available for everyone to read on the "www" so take it serious ..use proper grammar and all ...

Iv done a few articles in the past for projects ect, and I have a few spare hours at the moment if someone wants to get in touch tell me what they need is be happy to help out

Ok so I went ahead drew up a template, I have a few topics which I want to write about but is there anything in particular the clan wants me to include ? Some ideas would really help me get this newsletter up and running, if I have enough ideas I will be running the newsletter a month in advice so I can always guarantee a steady flow of information for you guys

You are going to have to learn as you go along as to what everyone is wanting to read about ... I would talk about the clan of course and probably the latest promotions, players and members to note ... how we are leaving top100 after 30 months as the #1 voted clan .. be creative and see if it gets positive feedback ..
