Todays Patch

So far this patch looks pretty good but the new gun is kinda scary. Its like a heavy assault rifle and shotgun pack into one so you can go from pretty much sniping to waiting around a corner with a shotgun for close quarters. From what I can tell the ASM1 got a nerf finally and it looks like the ARX received a nice buff. Will let you guys know if I notice anything else or if the patch notes get released

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Latest Patch Adds Grand Master Prestige Ranks

Grand Master Prestige Ranks and a new gun have been added to the game.

Players of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be happy to know that the game has been updated with a host of fixes and additions, including a new weapon that's available exclusively to DLC Season Pass owners.


The update went live today on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One without any official patch notes, although fans report that among the new additions are new Grand Master Prestige ranks, along with emblems for the new ranks.


Additionally, the font size for the killfeed has been adjusted to be more legible and there is a new layout for challenges in place. Exo Zombies mode can now also be paused, which is great because it allows players to strategize ahead of time.


Season Pass holders will now have access to a new gun called the Ohm and its custom variant the Ohm Werewolf. Here's what it looks like:

Now I'm wishing I would have got online this morning before work lol... I guess I'll just have to pull my hair out waiting to try this new gun out all through work.

Thanks for posting the patch news Cheech. I'm glad they added this new gun. Let's see if the EPM3 and AMR9 are worth a darn now.

I've got mixed feelings about this patch.

I won't lie about being an ASM1 Speakeasy fanboy, but yesterday while trying to play, I was seriously struggling to get any kills with it.. I was losing 2/3 of my gunfights that I would have normally won (ex. Shooting somebody in the back and getting 5-6 bullets on targets just to be turned on and killed). So the nerf on the ASM1 is a huge turn off for me.

I've also witnessed and heard about a glitch with the Ohm Werewolf.. You try to use it and it comes up as an AE4 with like one bullet. This glitch also affects non-season pass holders.. Their AE4 (including variants) will show up as the Ohm Werewolf; and becomes basically useless. This may have been patched since last night, but I've seen and heard about the glitch.

All I know is that since the update yesterday, I have been struggling like hell on AW. I'm not sure what happened, but my whole game was thrown out of balance.. I was struggling to even pull out of most matches with anything near a 0.30 KD.

All about adapting and overcoming. I also was and still am a speakeasy fan boy. Fact is though, the ASM1 needed a nerf, you'll just have to learn to make up for the extra hits it takes to get a kill by out playing the person you're in a gun fight or come to terms with the fact that you wont win gun fights you typically would have prior to the patch.

This is true.. Just quite frustrating.

Took me quite awhile to get where I was, and it's what I had gotten use to.
