That looks sweet! I wish I could do anything close to this lol. I have a buddy from Germany that's really good at this stuff. He did the logo for my band and the art work.

I don't really do calligraphy perse‘ but I do like illustrated lettering.

It's really a lost art. I used to do it back in high school. You gotta have a good pen, ink, and paper. Just keep practicing your strokes but all in all pretty good.

I used to have several different styles of font i would practice my favorite was incorporating letters into the image of an object that was the name.... confuzzled by that.... give me a few and i will post a few pics to show what i mean.
Wow took me longer to find the art book i knew had what I was looking for...... these are from various periods of my life from high school to a few years ago.
This one is just a carefully written title to an image i drew.
This one is a logo for a band i was in called stone fish
This one was a random doodle that evolved into something i wasnt expecting.
This was something i doodled whilst i spent time with my wife in the hospital after our first child was born. It is my imagining what a supermario level would look like if it were shaped like my daughters name....

I liked them, good designs. I feel I am not as creative when I see these, because all i do is flick a pen the right way, or what I like.
Ill try a metal band design idea if I have time later this week.
