Today we lost a hero to many, a poet, actor, philanthropist, and major advocate of science and true education.
At 83 years old, he passed due to end-stage Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder, or COPD. He struggled with this for many years, and in the television series "Fringe" even used his medication and treatment on set for dramatic effect.

Although i was never a fan of that particular series in the franchise, his character was always ine i could relate too. Not to mention his hand sign for greetings was one of the first scifi hand signals i ever learned how to do.
Learn from his lessons and may we all live long and prosper.

I grew up watching Star Trek and Spock was just the one character that I always loved to hear talk because of his deep logic and wisdom entwined with his Leadership...SOB! RIP Spock !!!
