So yesterday I wanted to play Madden 15 cuz I was seriously bored ... I fired up the game and started playing and noticed the rumble packs (vibration) was so intense it was simply annoying. I looked in the settings to turn the vibration off and there was no setting to do so .
So I remember there being a global setting to disable vibration on the 360 so I looked there too and still nothing ... So I looked online and the XBOX One simply doesn't have the option to turn off vibration globally like the 360 does ...REALLY? !!!!
So what I did was opened up my XBOX One controller and removed all 4 rumble packs from the controller ...How? You will need a T8 and T6 safety torx security screwdrivers and a solder gun to quickly remove the wires from the soder base in the controllers .. very easy to do ...
So I did it and now my controller is so much lighter and easier to handle ... You guys should try and and also this will save your battery life as well ...
Not having an option to turn off vibration is a way for Microsoft to get you to buy controllers every so often because they will either burn out the rumble packs , they will stop working or your batteries die off and you go and buy new ones ... smart marketing if you ask me but not enough to dupe me ...
Has anyone else done this?
