    Inquiry: Using the Assault Kit

Just some light inquiry to fill in a new Battlefield 4 player..

Maybe I'm biased to my opinion but we've all been here.. I am a big fan of the Assault rifles and kit in general, which is what many seem to favour, mainly for the reason of having an all around effective weapon. Having med kits and supportive equipment to keep your boys going throughout how ever many gun fights is a bonus, I can't deny.. But being new to the Battlefield collection in general, I haven't even had a glimpse at any Assault rifle passed the AK-12 nor the equipment besides defibs and med kits. And it's just about that time, I've recently earned an Assault Service Star and finished my AK-12 unlocks.

After getting passed the gun ranking for better attachments, what do I have to look forward to? I have no doubt the options are endless and there are way too many combos that rely on your playing style.. I'm just trying to get your insight or tips on what and where I should focus my effort toward. I feel like I can potentially get an idea of your individual playing styles from your input as well.

Possibly a silly question that I can answer myself with a little research, but my main purpose for this post was to gather other favourited combinations that our fellow members enjoy while using the Assault kit.

I'll continue to focus my time on Assault until I am completely comfortable with the gameplay, style, modes and maps. Don't take that as a plee that I will never use another kit if the squad needs some diversity. I enjoy playing a variety of game modes so there really is no wrong answers to any of this.

Once I get to know the majority of the players, our synergy will be an even more lethal force than it already is!

To simplify all my jibber-jabber.. Try following this guide to keep this in order:

    Primary w/attachment:
    Secondary:
    Gadgets:
A short note on your selections best scenario/game type:

If you'd like to throw in details on Field Upgrades (another thing I have yet to scratch the surface of) I would love to hear it all!

    Much appreciated.

    Yours truly,
    Kingly

    Primary w/attachment: AEK971 - Kobra RDS - Muzzle Break - Folding/Angled Grip
Secondary: G18 - HBAR - whatever sight your most comfortable with
Gadgets: Defibs/Big bag - gonna try the little bag when they drop the next patch.
Grenada - Flashbang because it's hilarious to get a kill with them.
Field Upgrade - always Defensive so I can eat an extra bullet or two.

A short note on your selections best scenario/game type: it's all about being aggressive. You'll beat most people 1v1 especially up close and if your hitting in the chest or higher. Just remember you'll be on the mini map every time you shoot. Pick your battles.

Primary: AR160 (acog 4x, silencer, angled grip)
    Secondary: m1911
    Grenade: incendiary
Gadgets: grenade launcher, and med kit (or defib)

A very versatile class. The Ar160 is quite good at range even with the silencer switched to semi auto. It also is effective at short range while keeping you off radar. The m1911 is about the same and saves your ass when you run out of a clip. The incendiary is good when used correctly. It is great for choke points and making your enemy change direction, however it can not be thrown very far. The grenade launcher is awesome for clearing a path or to kill those hiding behind vulnerable walls. Also to ward off any helicopters balsy enough to hover anywhere near you. Although I have also been using the hell out of the scar dmr as well, along with the 93r pistol. However that's only effective on more open maps. I do love the assault class though. The engineer is what I use the most however.

    Assault kit classes:

    Run and Gun loaf out:
    M416 suppressed /angled grip
    P226 flash hider/ mini RDS
    Med Bag
Defibs (sometimes swap out for m320 grenade launcher)

    Defensive load out mid range:
    L852: muzzle break/stubby grip
    P226: flash hider/ mini RDS
    Med Bag
    Defibs

    Long Range assault kit:
    ARI60: flash hider/ angled grip
    93R: muzzle break/ mini RDS
    Med bag
    Defibs

    Close quarters assault class:
    AEK: muzzle break/ angled grip
    93R Muzzle break/ mini RDS
    Med bag
    De fibs

As far as which perks to run. I either choose the defensive perk which allows you not to be one shot by shotguns and snipers up close or the offensive perks which allows you to run with more ammo (if I have a support guy I won't run the offensive one)

OMG an I forgot one of my favorite guns !

The ace 23 is probably the most versatile gun in the game. It's not really bad at anything or great in one particular category but that's what makes it good.

Run the Ace 23 with muzzle break and stubby grip. You won't be disappointed.

Honorable mentions for the assault rifle:

M16A4 - such an underrated gun it can melt people. Run with angled grip and flash hider.

F200- run angled grip with either suppressor or flash hider. The main flaw with this weapon is it's reload time.

Famas- has a 1000 rate of fire so it melts people up close. Run with muzzle break and stubby grip. It suffers from reload time limited ,mag size and limited ammo. But you will win most gun fights close range.

    Lovin the feedback! Thanks team.

Such a variety and nothing seems to be favoured overall. That being said, I've got a lot of testing to do!

I've moved on to the SAR-21 after attaining the 5-Star AK-12 and I can't complain. When I get a little down time this evening I'll fill in my own little report.

Is there any difference between suppressors? Stats don't say so but maybe someone has a different opinion..
