For all of my friends here that have asked me for updates on my health issues.
I talked to my doctor today, after a grueling 2 weeks of waiting for results, about the tumor in my chests. The results came back good! The tumor is benign! It is actually a extra parathyroid gland that made its way down into my chest. So, instead of 4 parathyroid glands I have 5. This is VERY rare and happens in 1 and 10 million people.
I am going to have to have surgery to remove it. Luckily they don't have to split my chest open to take it out. It will be minimally invasive and they will go in through a small incision in my neck. I will meet with an ENT specialist to figure out my next step and figure out what doctor I want to do the surgery.
Thank you to all my CAG family who has asked me about it. I am proud to call CAG my home!
