We were talking about this in party yesterday. Basically any kind of platoon friendships or any way to connect with other platoons for a quick game while already playing is non-existent and a complete fail by DICE.
You should be able to go onto Battlelog, see how many people are currently playing in other platoons, and request a match against them. They have 90% of the infrastructure there they are just too stupid to implement this.
Pub stomping just gets boring after a while especially when you have a full squad or more and you are killing servers. How fun would it be to jump in a game against another squad of guys from another platoon when you already have everyone on and don't have to organize a set time? I can't believe DICE hasen't thought of anything like this yet, these guys are supposed to be the professional "innovators". Reality is they can hardly make their game without bugs, let alone have something like this actually work.
It would be nice to casually play against another clan with similar skill level to ours. I'm not interested in anything hyper competitive that we have to be "ready" for. That is just way to much work and not worth it imo. There HAS to be other casual clans out there who want casual scrims, all we have to do is find them.
