Quick delicious sandwich. Back on my younger days I worked in a deli while going to school. This is probably one of my favorite sandwiches.

Use a sweet Hawaiian roll (most grocery stores carry those small roll versions in 4 packs, just use the whole 4, F moderation), get some nice roast beef (sweeter is better, a nice London broil is the best), give a layer or two of hard salami, top with some of the hottest pepper cheese you can find (we always had some super hot pepper cheese I used), and finally put some horseradish sauce on top (now don't be a hero, be sparse with that).

If you're in a bind for time this takes just a minute to whip up and its wonderful.

I'll be visiting Germany and Italy in may. I'll post some euro friendly recipes then. If I'm sober enough to remember them.

Ok this may sound weird to some, but try it first, trust me. My grandfather used to make these for us. We would take them with us ice fishing.

Cheddar Cheese and Strawberry Jam Sandwiches

There are 3 key components to this, besides the obvious lol. 1- Old cheddar. The good strong stuff. 2) Great bread. A good dense white or sourdough. 3) A good berry compote or jam. Not too sweet.

Then it's a matter of getting the right thickness of cheese. Toasted is even better. That said, regular jam, white bread, and cheddar cheese is still good. But you can next level that shit with good ingredients.
