the only thing i'm unsure of is if it would be a good build to upgrade down the road.

i'll probably tear the old 1 TB HDD out of this tower because it already has Windows 7 plus it will free up some money for a SDD. i'll also probably go with a Corsair power supply over the one listed.

i feel like the R9 270 will be more than sufficient for the price and the games i'll play.

it should also be noted that neither build take fans into account but those are only 14-18ish i believe. so about the same price as my XB1 (at launch), gold for a year (which you need every year) and one game.
