Be sure to max out your marks crucible as well as vanguard each week(100 each) RzaRay. I think you can pick up gloves and boots(65 marks each i think) for fairly cheap, chest and helm for a little more(125 marks I think), then guns cost the most(150 marks). Once you get higher level you can run the weekly and nightfall for gear as well as strange coins, which are used to buy exotic gear from a vendor named Xur that ahows up in the tower fri-sat with different exotics every week.

In your inventory pane they are located above your items on the screen where your bounties are located. You use these to buy items from the vendors in the tower. you get three crucible marks for every crucible win I think. For each strike completed you get 3 vanguard marks (I think). This is just a more sure fire way to get legendary(purple) quality gear instead of waiting for drops.

Yea no problem, it just takes learning the maps, and finding the best guns that fits your playstyle. Also hang around your team mates, and watch your radar
