Will Hoge is a song writer that isn't well known. He did a Chevy Truck commercial with the song "Strong" in it. However, his raspy voice and ability on the instruments mostly lead to others singing his songs. Except ... this one. This one he keeps for himself and it's probably the BEST Military song that I've heard in a long long time.
