I missed you more Jadzia! But I think a change of scenery would be nice, I cant say alot seeing as ive been busy over here in Korea, and the internet is quite terrible, but I do miss the chat bar, the top 100 ive never cared for seeing as I have buddies in the army messaging me about seeing the clan tag in some game they were playin. But any help I can be just let me know, were about to be done with our training cycle here at the end of febuary, then its all getting ready to come back and having time off. Just let me know where ya need me.
The Eagle has landed once more!

OK what i was talking about with the recruits is basically like on the roster how we have every one in a different user class. if we could put the recruits in a userclass that goes with the company they are put in.
(Example)
[R] John Doe would be Bravo - then he would be placed in the Bravo Recruits class on the Roster.
I was just thinking of it that way it would allow fire-team leaders to see who they have. but i was also thinking that might take alot of time to sit there and go through them and add them into a userclass to which company it goes to. but i thought i would just give this a shot and see what you all thought about it.
yea i was reading about the archives of forums and some say it would be a waste of time plus it takes up more space on the forums with them all being in one place.

You can already tell who is in what company by doing a sorting by Company in the main roster:

It's great that Cheech has you to help with things. managing all of this is too much for one person and the sacrifices he makes of his personal time to keep things running smoothly for CAG is astounding.
All the changes you have addressed sound positive and i have no problem with any of them. change to help efficiency is always a good thing
Top 100 clans? i myself came from here as a result of Google searching for clans to join as did a few other members. any thing that gets CAG name out there can only be a good thing, right?
i did have a small issue with the forums at the end of last week, that problem being that i seemed to be IP blocked from the site.... this prevented me from being able to access the site from any device in my household unless i accessed via a proxy server - the reson for this remains unknown, as does the reason it suddenly started to work again
Moving to a dedicated server. this sounds like a good (though costly) idea. if this is put in to practice, i will be happy to help with donations where needed

I feel a little dumb that i didnt even think of trying that lol.... maybe i should look at more things that i have missed that could come in hand that you have in plan sight lol.... well it was a shot till you told me you have already done something like that lol give Cheech a big hell yea for out smarting the wizards of hog warts...
I also came from top100clans so I can't hate on the site. There are two schools of thought here. The first is that it brings an awareness of CAG out there thereby leading to more recruits. The second is that a majority of those recruits don't make it or are not what we are looking for. In my opinion it does bring a lot of traffic to the site and some become valuable members but I could see that maybe we've outgrown it and should take a brake from that. Besides we could always revisit the idea later.
As to the ads I would not want it to get to the point that the site would be in jeopardy so you do what you gotta do, but if it's for improvements than I'm sure there are a lot of ideas we could come up with(maybe even make thread on everyone's input) other than more ads. I like Reaper's store idea BTW. Ads are fine as long as they don't take away from the site.
Everything else on conduct that Jadzia has covered I'm in full agreement on. I understand spats will happen but a lot of them can be resolved without ever going public on the forums.
I also know how much trust Cheech has in Jadzia from past takeovers, on his approval, so I'm confident those changes are for the best and Cheech is lucky to have such a skilled person give him a break!
