I will say I think Top 100 Clans is valuable as I can think of a few solid Whiskey Members that have come from there as well as Google (which pops us to the top because of Top 100) one of them being HG867 who is now organizing regular Scrims for Whiskey Co.

If people come to apply because of Top 100 and then don't finish the recruit process or otherwise don't work out then no harm done in my opinion.

Something that gets us to the top of google search for clans is a positive thing. This is absolutely something we should continue doing.

I always have and always will dislike top100 and some of the people it draws. I would love to see this clan not on there but I'm not around much so it really doesn't matter. That has always been and will always be my opinion.

Hey Jadzia damn uts good to see u back around the forums,bet it was cold as hell in Switzerland.

Anyways in regards to the forums loading times and what not iv never really had any issues with this(it was always good for me).i know cheech took the chat bar off which sped things up for me on top of what they already where.

As for top100clans I have never really liked the aura that it brings to CAG from other clans.the bad-mouthing/putting down a clan and hating just because we hold a particular #1 spot that really out of hand.hell we know where #1 (you only have to look at our activity to find that out) who needs a website to say it.So on my part I wouldn't be sad to see top100clans go ,we don't need it to continue.

Glad to have u back around again Jadzia god knows cheech could do with the help around here at times.

Hey heres an idea if you can code it and I function right. Like the recruits what if we can place them in the roster under their company that way it would make it easier to see them plus remove them if they don't make it. I agree 100% with Jadzia. Cleaning would be good or archive the old posts.

Aaaw thank you Johnbai84. For me it's not cold here lol, it's home so I am used to it.

I too have never liked top100clans.com either, yes it has brought in some very good players who are now members but I personally believe it brings a different crowd which is not a very good one.

I did remove the popup to vote on top100clans.com from the forums but left it on the main landing page of the website. I have also noticed that the votes on top100clans.com has dropped dramatically the last 3 months or so which is another reason why I believe removing us from top100clans.com wouldn't hurt us at all.

Over at top100clans.com our traffic alone is helping out the owner of that website with revenue from the google adds which should be helping us out instead by keeping all traffic here and not there.

I am also glad to hear that you have not had any problems with the forums loading for you.

Can you explain this a little better CAG Killfrost?

And archiving old posts is never a good idea with vBulletin, you can't actually archive old threads by default, you can only move them to a forum which you can name it "Archives" but it does the exact same thing as not having them there. So really it does nothing in terms of performance.
