now this is just my suggestion... could be shit maybe not worth the time (no clue how much time this would take) but again just a thought
first, to refine for games that are yearly - CoD/BF/Madden-NHL-FIFA-2K just list as CoD Series, BF Series, Madden Series, FIFA series ETC; and leave it up to the users to check off each year perhaps if a CoD player finally gives up he can just uncheck it that year or if someone who plays sports titles if they pass on the new Madden/NHL/ETC; they can just uncheck it. you could probably do this for GRFS-Counter Strike-Halo and just run off the assumption that the person(s) are playing the newest yearly installment. obviously you'll always have a guy or maybe 3 playing old games like that Gym guy who only plays MW3. i think that was him.
games like Destiny or World of Tanks are fine they way they are IMO because you won't see those released yearly.
all/most of these can probably get removed/refined - i don't know it just seems cluttered to me? or maybe i'm salty cause all i play is Battlefield? lol - either way, i think at least Halo/Madden would be best refined that way and it would hurt, IMO, to add other sports genres as above mentioned IE NHL series/2K series/ETC;
