There is no way in hell that this guy or anyone else is going to tell me and convince me that AW has dedicated servers or that he plays on them 1/3 of the time he plays games ...
A lot of people are confusing Input Lag, ping, Baseline delay, "LISTEN SERVERS" and "Dedicated Servers" ...
What this guy failed to note is that an individual's upload connection not the "download" connection is what helps you in gaming especially "IF" there are dedicated severs available.
When someone has bad cable in their house even though their download speed may be high, they get a high "PING" because of the poor quality cable used for their internet, when people are on FiOS like Verizon's, if there is even a small break in the lines in your neighborhood the whole network suffers until they are able to find that break. FiOS is made up of cables with about 144 max fibers in each, some can be only 12 fibers per cable as well ... when one of these fibers breaks you have something like a "hernia" which leaks the information, audio , video all over causing lag to anyone within that network and finding the exact location of these breaks can be expensive for the providers and also time consuming .. Most times they just replace a whole block or two because they can't find the break and therefor you have hours even days before you have internet in your area.
Anyways back to the lag, lag can also be caused by poor outdated routers and modems even though you have the best connections available which "IF" there are dedicated servers available you wont even have a chance to connect to them at all ...
At 7:13, Baseline delay is the one reason I tell everyone to never turn corners !!!! And even "IF" you do get in a dedicated server you have to fight off shit like Baseline delay , input lag, ping problems and noise in your connection which no one seems to ever talk about ....
Good video nevertheless for those who will believe just about anything but a starting point for those who really understand how gaming, gaming servers and input lag works ...

Thanks Cheech for a more detail explanation. Sounds like the problem is way more complicated than we thought. I guess there is no hope for zero lag .
Everything man made my Man has lag except for our very own "BRAIN" ... we will never replicate how quickly the brain does all this without lag lol ...

I really like Drift0r and if it wasn't for coupling the base knowledge of his blops2 videos with the training my mentors were providing I would still be trying for my marksman....lol
That being said I feel that the info in his videos are a little "rushed" for the sake of beating his comtitors to the punch on a video subject or to shorten it to. A timespan our trained ADD brains will tolerate viewing in its entirety... Maybe if he wasn't worried about those 2 previous factors he may have spent more detail distinguishing the differences with a little cited research.
As Joe said good explanation Cheech, clearly you speak from years of experience in online gaming, what we should always do with today's media information is always use it as a base point to learn some jargon so we may better refine our Google searches and narrow them down to the real meat and potatoes.
