The lag part is just a bit cold. a note about lag. I you live in Ca and game with someone in New York you will have I belive 900ms of lag. the reason for this is information can not travel faster than the speed of light. your just going to have to trust me the math is correct on this someone very smart did it once and their face melted. With that in mind the 900ms not that face melting a connection from new york to say the darkside better known as the UK you have more than 900ms of lag which is why you guys get a shitty connection and experience lag. if you want to have the best connection move your xboxs closer together. lol

i always have shitty lag when playing with most CAG members, i perform a lot better when playing solo or with others within the uk

nothing worse than having a 1-2 bar connection in a lobby when everyone else is rocking a 3 or 4 bar

the difference is such a big deal

Ive learned to embrace my lag. I can barley even move when im running a lobby with more than 1 or 2 uk members. I now just shoot before i even walk around corners just to prepare for the incredibly horrid connection i know ill have when the enemy is actually there. Ginger...thank u for this tip...lol

You are welcome for the tip however blaming the lag on me meh... i only get lag when playing with you, duck or joe i never lag with anyone else it really weird, i all depends on who is host in the lobby for my connection half the time as well like when you host QU33N 90% of the time i can bet i will be on a 2bar or 1bar yet if someone else host i can often get a 3bar (which i can deal with)........ bu yeah lag sucks and we need more uk members on AW on 360 defiantly for clan wars so then we can run 24-7 uk team in the day over here and when we are a sleep the americans can run.

Yep hell yeah to everyone's comments above as they are so true,
I'm a UK player(mainly battlefield) and playing with others from the EU on European servers I notice no lag at all and am able to stay on top of my game.
When connecting with other CAG members occasionally I notice some lag from time to time but I must say it ain't much.i notice the most lag when trying to game on a tipical west coast server but like I say its minuscule but noticeable.
Having a great connection from your xbox to your modem and a good ISP is half the battle before you even start gaming.
If possible I suggest using a direct wired connection from your xbox to your router.

Mine is hard wired and i still get insane lag. But lately ive been running most of my games with a small group from the uk so its expected before i even go into the game. Im really starting to take advantage of the lag and just sit back. Lol

You want to try changing your internet channel to the channel that has the strongest optimal strength.
Also everyone's router should have the option in settings where u can actually decide what devices connected to it take priority signal strength over each other.for instance my router had my laptop as the main device connected months ago(which I wasn't aware of)so was getting the majority of my signal so I changed this within the settings to direct the signal straight to my xbox and it helped greatly.
Like u say if all this fails I find when u hit lag spikes slow your gameplay down.dont go seeking gun battles,let them come to u and pre fire.thinking ahead of time does help.
