How To Farm Marks For Level 31 Gear

First go to my public event thread and get that setup on an iPad or something you can monitor while you play.

second start farming and jumping from public event to public event. You should get marks from every encounter.

please let me know if this helps or does not. Thought this would be a a great way for our low level members to get geared up without having to farm the old raids.

Sweet thanks man, sittin at lvl 28 and been needing some of that action. Gonna try and meet up with a few of Kilo Company in the next few days to pop some alien heads on a few raids/strikes

Just remember you can only get 100 marks per week. So get your raids and weeklys done before you buy something from the vanguard. Would suck to waste marks, commendation on a chest piece then get a better one from a raid in the same day.

So went and did a PVE run today with the website tracker. Make sure you always wait at least 2-3 mins after the timer because the timer can be off.

- you get 4 marks per event! This can be a lot faster than grinding strikes if you just need to get some marks to buys some vanguard gear.

Thanks for the info! I was gonna have to farm out vanguard marks for that LDR 5001 sniper ( thorn dot + armor piercing rounds sniping through walls looks insane), but I won Efrideet's Spear with Rodeo/Armor Piercing Rounds/Firefly from Iron Banner. I can't wait to level this thing up!

Doing the Lv 24 (or Lv 26 strikes if you have the dlc) is an easy way to get marks as well. you'll get 6 marks per strike and reputation twords vanguard. if youre playing with a fireteam of friends you can rush the strikes and get them done fairly quickly, the longest one takes around 14 minutes when rushed. and you get more exp twords your gear from doing strikes compared to public events.
