Ok rainy figured out how to switch the resolution. Ok so im new to the whole camera thing now which resolution would be better i have different options but im only, going to name off a few. 1920x1080 which it is currently on. Or 1280x960, or 1280x720?

I think it depends on what you are doing or what you are gonna use it for. I suspect you will get more fps with the 1280x720 (better for higher speed action like skiing). The 1920 x1080 would be better for shots not requiring high speed, like landscapes or time lapse. If I recall correctly some of those option change the field of view or angle.

Lots of videos on YouTube regarding this

I would probably go 1080x960, try and fiddle with your ISO (light) and balances. There's a sweet spot somewhere, you just need to find it. Start with a setting, test it on bike, check it, adjust accordingly, test again. Take like 20 second clips for your test, enough to get up to a speed and turn so you get multiple light and shifting situations, for best appraisal of your settings and adjustments to make.
