Being an extremely new member myself, I believe what CAG Beastmode posted brings up some very valid points. In the short time I've been apart of CAG, the support and mentorship has been great, but I at times felt like I was holding certain players back from playing the game modes that they enjoyed the most in order to help me accomplish my requirements. While I understand that this is part of the supporting attitude of CAG, I soon realized that many of the members helping me held positions higher in the CoC then I would have thought needed for the responsibility of babysitting me through my recruitment phase. As was stated earlier in the thread, there have been a lot of new recruits joining. I have been on and gamed with many of them while senior members have attempted to guide them through getting their Marksmen awards. I have watched while senior members have essentially become bullet catchers/observers in order to accomplish this. Again, while appreciated, I believe it is unfair to ask members who make up some of the senior CoC of CAG to spend all of there time with the recruits with so many new members available to fill that roll.
Perhaps structuring it so that recruits are mentored by the senior NCM's(thru Msgs and party chat) while the main gaming is carried out by the junior NCM's(ie; FTL's and below) might alleviate some of the problems arising with certain gamemodes not being made priority for events like Clan Wars.
Just an observation, but I thought I'd pass it along...
