Freemasons

Hey CAG,

I was wondering if there are any Freemasons here, I am not going to ask you any secrets or anything. I am just very interested about joining the freemasonry in the near future and was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about it. What I would have to do etc. I know I need a sponsor of sorts but unfortunately I don't know any local FM's who could help me out. My great grandfather was a freemason and I was wondering if that would maybe help me get into the freemasons in someway.

You'll get plenty of Illuminati questions and such, but I had a college professor that was a Freemason.

He said he was some sort of numbered degree of Mason, but I can't recall.

my nan and grandad both were/are freemasons

grandad has quit, sort of - nan is still a lady freemason

have toyed with joining myself quite a few times but there is a subscription of sorts to pay and a few items you need to buy in order to be a member and due to things going on calling for my money in my life i cant justify giving the masons this kind of money

my best friend also recently joined a masons lodge - he likes it despite being one of the youngest members of his particular lodge

if you want to participate in everything they do then be prepared to spend money - charity dinners. holidays etc

Not nessecarily old dudes dude, and its called a chapeau, you also get a sword, cape wear a tux. Those that wear it are considered honor guards. You prolly know us from our infamous tootsie roll drive in sept. Where we stand on all the busy intetsections and get your donation.
