Computer Problems

I will tell you when I'm home from the hospital. Been here a couple days. This event happened the day before I went in. Long story short I'm sick as Fuck, but improving. Hoping well enough by Wednesday then there's no surgery!

Allllrighty. So upon going in to try card removal, I found that the CAUSE of the fried graphics card (which is most definitely fried) was a faulty LCS pump. It was so gunked up in the pump turbine that it overpressured the system causing a leak, which eventually cause a temp alarm shutdown. I do not know the state of the processor, and wont until I put everything back together with a heat sink type cooling system and new GFX card. Ugh!!!

I am in the process of hooking everything back together... Moving slowly because I'm still so damn tired from this Mono, and I'd hate to lose focus here...

Hoping the processor is alive or I'll have to find an LGA775 model...

Alrighty, everything's hooked up properly. No small feat with thirty single pin, unlabelled pluggers...

Annnnnd. Nothing.

Mobo/processor death. I think... I'm going to try the CMOS plug short cap and clear CMOS Memory to see if that does it... If not, I'm beyond fucked, in the way of having a working computer this year.
