Hey what's up fellas!

So a goal of mine ever since I was in high school has been to build my own computer. Well now that I am making big boy money at my job I finally get to do it! I just placed the order for all my parts like 15 mins ago. Kind of excited and scared at the same time. If I break anything I might cry. But I will upload some pictures of the process and the finished product when i get it done. Then I will finally not be limited to the restrictions of the Macbook I currently use.

Here is everything I got.

All of these parts were purchased through newegg.com

I still have to buy my monitor, Wi-Fi adapter, and keyboard. All of which I will most likely get from bestbuy down the road because they have some pretty good prices. It should all be to me in 4-7 business days and then the real fun will begin!

when you assemble make sure your working in/on a static free environment.

beyond that, looks like a killer build man. your gonna have some fun with that bad boy lol.

That's why you rubber band it to your leg man. Can't the python roam free around parts that weigh 15lbs or more

haha you are far more prepared than i. i'm more of a "wait til shit happens then get my problem solving cap on then" than a "make sure shit doesn't happen" type a guy lol. always learn the hard way lol

what kind of games are you interested in playing on PC?

Honestly I'll give everything a try. Steam will probably be my best friend for a while. A lot of Indy titles that friends have told me are great.

I play WoW every so often to keep in touch with my cousin who lives across the country now.

But yeah there isn't much I won't give a try if I can afford it

When I ordered the parts I qualified for some special 4-7 day shipping instead of the 5-15 day. And it only cost $5 to ship.

Just got the shipping confirmation email and it is getting shipped from Indianapolis which is like 2 hours away from me. Had I of known that I would of just taken a day off and drive over there.
So I'm hoping to get the stuff tomorrow or Monday by the earliest

Practice static safety, hack naked. That's from an old web comic I was a fan of, but can't remember what... Dont skimp on the extremities! Obviously, you probably dont need an adjustable weight mouse, but one with good read and respond time could be helpful. Keyboards, never hurts to have a macro pad. I have a three shift pad with nine buttons and a scroll wheel, absolutely killer accessory, but not required.
