Yeah, I like it. I just got an xbox one, like, paying for it right now..
I have played ghosts (alot) with both weapons (including maverick variants and both ripper play styles)
The maverick is a slower firing assult rifle or semi-auto sniper (with tracker sight). It is amazing at range but falls against close quarters fighting which is the majority of ghosts.
The ripper works incredibly well, with a sight that allows major visibility (almost none impaired) in smg mode, and has a massive clip, damage and fire rate that is almost better than any other smg in the game, as well as does damage at range!
The assault mode is even better, with a great sight, and heaps more damage, with a slightly slower fire rate than the smg mode.
I would 100% recommend the ripper over the maverick.
i am very good with both guns i kick either way but in my opinion i think the ripper is the better gun but thats my opinion you also have your opinion i just really like the firing rate for the ripper but i enjoy the mavericks damage also but either way im bad ass with any gun really
