Maverick Or Ripper?

I'm thinking about getting the a weapon from the store, but I don't know which one I want, Maverick or the Ripper. What's your opinion on which one to go with for a noob?

Depends on your playstyle. The maverick is more of a sniper rifle gun while the ripper is an smg which can also enter a slower firing assault rifle mode with a sight. Personally I've been using the k7 (smg) and the ripper when we play. I'm more of a run and gun type of player though.

Check out the k7 its like the honey badger since it has a built in silencer too.

i bought the ripper and was overall really impressed with it. i havnt tried the maverick but if you are looking for a good run and gun weapon i like the ripper a lot

Ripper is one if the best guns on ghosts imo

Unless you hold an area down and camp then maverick is no good... Even then I would chose an LMG before maverick as many of the older members know

I agree with SprayAim. If you want a powerful gun with a great fire rate and fast reload go for the Ripper.

The Ripper is by far one of my favorite guns in Ghosts, I got that fucker gold the day I got it. If you set up your perks right with all speed you can tear shit up. As for the maverick it comes as a assault rifle and a sniper, both versions I do not like. I also must agree that LMG's are the way to go. M27 with thermal and silencer in hardcore with a team holding shit down is the best. You can pick people off across the map with that thing.

best gun in the world of ghosts - not great if you are a fast mover but if you are going to take your time its epic - can snipe bitches with it on hardcore
