When it comes to the transition between recruit to member, are all the requirements mandatory or are just a few mandatory? I have noticed a few instances where some rules are not being followed, and some of the requirements are not being held up to standard. I have seen a few people earn member status with fewer than 30 posts, and is the 2 week "probation" mandatory for a full 2 weeks?
Also if someone breaks a rule, do you want them blasted on the forum for it, or a private message? I don't want to overstep any boundaries.
As stated under the requirements when joining, point 4:
"The Dogg ribbon & The Marksman will be awarded in 2 weeks. This is a probationary time that you must continue to show interest and be active, not simply become a member and stop participating. During the 2 weeks, you must be active on the forums, with at least a post count of 30.
I have seen a few people that are members, but do not have 30 posts. So I guess my question is: IF the 30 posts are being waived, can the 2 week probationary time be waived as well? Also, are all the requirements and rules meant to be followed or are some of them meant to be followed. I think it is silly to have rules in place but them not be enforced to standard. Not saying that this is happening, but a few instances seem to be slipping through the cracks. I thought I would bring this up for uniformity sake, and to fully benefit equality among CAG members, officers, and recruits.
