Yes, I do believed they are paired. The lil blue isn't flashing and the headset blinks about once per second. I figured I will end up buying the adapter tomorrow.. I've got nothing to do tomorrow. It does sound like it's coming through very vague though.

ok just checking have you tried turning it up with the volume wheel on the headset. Im sure this is not the case but just checking. You may want to double check the settings on the tv I had to switch some other audio setting for it to work right

These are the ones I got for christmas. Although it was an experience for me too. My sealed box was somehow missing the cable that goes fromt he headset to the controller and then I thought I'd need the adapter since I use hdmi but then realized I had a gaming chair that had speakers so I just plugged the audio cord that goes to the chair into the black turtle box and it worked.

I used to play with the X12s and they were wired. I'd recommend trying to get an adapter, as RE4PER says. Wired is more reliable, easier to setup and minimises delay and as you'll know delay is minimal delay is vital in gaming :P

I got the 32s for my 360 when my other headset finally pooped. I had to get the adapter because the end that needed to go to my 360 was a no go. I grabbed the adapter at wal mart and it was pretty cheap too and mine work great now.

It was specifically an Xbox 360 Audio Adapter. It has one end that goes into the port right next to/above the HDMI port and the other end had the red and white plugin.
