I got the RCA's plugged into the Audio Out plugs, the the other end plugged into the wireless box. But there is still no sound coming through. I can hear people, talk, but can't hear the game itself.

I had to go into my tvs audio setting and switch the audio out feature on.

I know on my tv I had to turn the speakers on the tv off. Then turn the volume on the tv up. Be sure the usb is pluged into the back of your xbox. If all else fails you can get the turtle beach adapter that plugs into the back of your xbox.

Yes, I do believed they are paired. The lil blue isn't flashing and the headset blinks about once per second. I figured I will end up buying the adapter tomorrow.. I've got nothing to do tomorrow. It does sound like it's coming through very vague though.

I bought that, turns out I got the newer Xbox 360E. I think I'm just going to take them back. There is also a loud buzzing sound in the speakers

were the headphones wireless?

i find a lot of wireless sets buzz like a son-of-a-bitch when the batteries are not completely full
