Why is raid a requirement? I could understand a weekly heroic or a weekly nightfall. But a raid seems like a bit much, especially if we can only use our primarys. From what I've been reading, it seems like some thing destiny is like cod and it's nothing close. Different requirements should be set other than just primary weapon kills or whatever... just my opinion..
Honestly Cheech, doing weapons only for Destiny is going to be nearly impossible. It can be done, but even the good players are going to struggle with even the easiest of challenges for that. We cannot take anything off so we have to have a Primary (Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Scout Rifle, and Hand Cannons), a Special weapon (Fusion Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun), and Heavy Weapons (Heavy Machine Gun, and Rocket Launcher), plus at minimum one Grenade, a Melee ability, a Super ability, and 8 columns of perks to choose from where you will have 8 perks out of 24.Originally Posted by CAG CheechDogg
In Destiny, you cannot get away with ONLY using a Primary, or a Special Weapon. Even very skilled players will not be able to go 20 kills with 5 deaths in Crucible (PvP) by ONLY using an Auto Rifle. I mean, sure maybe a game or two, but I think it is unreasonable.
I can't disagree with this more. Not everyone even likes to do raids, and a person is not able to do a raid with ONE other person. It would force people to find a full group of 6 to complete it. And the entire raid party (if all CAG members would get it at once). That doesn't seem like an Expert badge to me. That sounds like a Raiding badge that can be added sometime in the future.
As I have stated in another thread, we CANNOT do 70 kills and 2 deaths, because that is WAY too easy depending on the strike.
Cheech, am I able to make a formal request? Like something that I want to do but I want to ask permission to do it to make sure that it is in the best interest of CAG. It will REALLY get these medals and badges sorted for Destiny in a VERY quick hurry. I really want these badges and medals to be finished so that Destiny can grow how I picture it. I am just asking if I am able to request permission to do something or if I should just let things fall as they are.

Infernous and I just got done doing a trial attempt at the primary ONLY 20 kills and 5 and under deaths. We played 3 games and they did NOT go well. I consider Infernous and I above average players. I was VERY strict on the rules. I recorded all 3 games, and I am uploading them to youtube now. When the video is fully uploaded, I will post the link here. You guys will see all 3 games, unedited, and you guys can decide if that is how we want to do things, but I think I speak for Infernous and I both on this one. I don't think this is possible at all for Sharpshooter or Expert. Using only a Primary and going 20 and 5 is going to be nearly impossible. Like I said, I will post the video when it is done, I will also post the rules that we both followed, and I will also post the bungie legend logs for the games.
Those games really sucked... I never want to do that again...
doable if you have a full team holding an area down though, no?
We did these 3 on Control and we tried staying in one area watching a point.
To be honest, after months of playing together, it is possible that one or two of the guys out of that 6 man team could do it, but not everybody. I HONESTLY do not see this happening. It doesn't work well with Destiny, there are WAY too many factors that play into deaths (Supers, Heavy Ammo, Grenades). Out of 100 people that try for this method, I am going to say that MAYBE 10 will be able to do it, and that won't be ANYTIME soon.
