today is Dec 29th and thus the day of Halo 5 Guardians Beta early access if you also bought the Master Chief Collection. just a reminder for anyone who may have forgot - total install size is about 10 1/2 GB's.

Any chance of this being an open beta? Or getting a code? I'd like to try it but I don't have MCC
really have no idea man. your best bet is to do a google search and see what you come up with.
i mean it could be exclusive or maybe they'll open it for the last week or two or maybe its totally open. can't say any which way with any degree of certainty.
No try no buy for me. Sounds like it's going to stay behind the MCC paywall.
A little frustrating that I have to buy old Halo games just to have access to this, and I've been a loyal Xbox customer for 7 years. I get that they want Halo players to be in the beta but there could still be those guys that played the shit out of the Xbox and 360 games but didn't want to rebuy them in MCC. But I digress. I hope they open it up for the last week. Just needed to vent a bit on this one :s

that's pretty dope.
The beta has been a ton of fun for me, albeit a little irritating at times. I just love the friendliness some people show when playing the beta, I've already made three friends thanks to their helpful tips and cheery banter. I just wish their were some...noncompetitive lobbies. While I don't really care about my KDA or Rank, it's just a nuisance for me to have to worry about it all the time, or to be constantly reminded that I'm with THIS set of people. I just really need to find enough people to form a party, because without a team, you might as well not even play half the time.
