When it comes to your marksman, a good thread to follow is this one:

The thing to make sure is that you are constantly using your gun, and its even more helpful to only use 1 gun. On your battlelog report the only kills that count toward your total are the ones with your best gun and the ribbons. This is how we evaluate to make sure that no vehicles, or explosives are used. Does it stink then when you pickup an enemy gun right fast and fire off 5 kills, yeah a little bit. But its a process.

I have gone over your games so far and the 1st set you have, (4+2+6+9+9) = 30 kills
2nd post (2+7+6+2+11+14) = 42
Total so far = 72 kills/350 kills
