Joe ..I am just really glad and feel a sense of "reassurance" when someone like Reaper who is new to the Family can and shows the understanding of how "Our" system works ... It is not very popular system as we have seen in the past from the many players who have left within days or weeks of being involved in our system, but this system is what has worked for CAG for many years ...
When "I" decided to implement this system it was a very difficult thing to do ... there were many great players and some online "friends" who decided not to stick with CAG because of this very system ... players and "friends" who had played with "Me" for years and they didn't agree with the system and structure ... many laughed at having to wait or go through a probation period .... laughed and criticized the Weapon Medals/Badge requirements ...
One of those guys was actually your 2nd in Command "Toxic" lol .. but over time he bought into the system and it took me about a year before he started coming onto the site and started being active ...
This system was methodically planned out over the span of 2 years during the time when my interest for web-design happened ... I have seen many people come and go ... but every successful organization of any kind has and needs a structure that needs to be followed ... those systems are not going to be for everyone and CAG is not for everyone ...I have had reluctance to change on many things and the 2 week probation and the need for official members during games to confirm is one that can and does have some "leeway" ...
The decision by Reaper to have this new recruit wait for her 2 weeks is something that really exemplifies CAG's commitment to "teamwork", discipline, integrity and patience ... four very important qualities that are needed to run a successful organization of any kind ... If recruits really want to be here and they understand and see that we are selective to "a" point they will appreciate the wait and the standards to which we hold recruits and our members to ....
CAG has evolved and become more open to change ... CAG was strictly a "camping" style clan and we did not allow anyone in the clan who didn't buy into our "camping" style system ... but in just the last 2 years we have had very versatile players like CAG PATRON, CAG SILENT, bluedevil80, CAG Randuken, CAG Covieleader, CAG twofkbrotal and CAG BIG COUNTRY who have helped CAG evolve and adapt to change and have been open to keep evolving and which is why they are now co-leaders in CAG .... these guys only to name a few from the list of officers have shaped CAG's structure and system ... and just within the last 2 years have been successful using the 2 week probation period and the direct invite option ...
So seeing Reaper make decisions like this one at his own discretion honestly brings joy and helps me feel comfortable knowing that we have members in CAG who really care about it's integrity ....
Thank you guys really for treating CAG as your own ... this is why we "ARE" still #1 and will continue to be #1 ...
