At this point I feel like I have no interest anymore and they are both past their prime. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see

Will be a great fight or 12 rounds of bro love I really hope its the first

This fight needed to happen at least 4 years ago when both fighters where in their prime.
2 fighters with a very different skill repertoire so still it should turn out interesting enough to watch.
You got Floyd, outstanding counter puncher, real solid defensively with body movement slipping and weaving taught to him by one of the best at it in his day none other than Floyd senior.
The only thing this guy lacks is that consistent bang of power, yeah he's got power as u seen with the Hatton fight but it ain't consistent.
Manny, well this dude punches in bunches, has great footwork, has consistent power and a real high class stamina.down side to Manny is that he throws that many punches that sometimes he leaves himself open and he cant do that with Floyds left hand cross.
My opinion Floyd will take it over Manny in the distance,I believe the same outcome would have happened 4 years ago but probably with a more explosive end to it.

This is Mayweather first true test against a guy who has beaten other true boxers a la Marquez.
Pacquio's two fisted power combined with his speed will cause a lot of problems for a slowing down Mayweather.
The only advantage for Floyd is the Judges. Any decision will favor the Champ but the referee may come into play also.
BTW John that Hatton power was against a smaller guy that moved up to fight Mayweather.

I know that all to well man, coming from a background of quite a few years amateur boxing I like to keep up with boxing knowledge.
It a big hobby of mine outside of gaming.
The punch that Mayweather put on Hatton was definitely clinical but as u say he stepped up,took to much on and it showed.
I would agree that stepping up in weight does deal a difference but being professional fighters these guys know this and therefore know what to expect so wouldn't easily jump to it.
Maybe Hatton was a bad example to use because of that but theres a lot of Floyd fights that show his capable(maybe not consistent stopping power) technical power.
Ortiz for example.
I believe that the only fighter that could have stopped Floyd was Juan Manuel Marquez,id pay more money to watch these two fight than him and Manny.

As a true boxing fan I also would have liked to see Mayweather fight Marquez.
As for Ortiz it was a fight that ended on stupidity and a technicality. Funny I remember Ortiz hugging him after the fight and Floyd going sure I'll give him a rematch. Floyd made him look like a fool in that fight.
John I can see us both in a room watching the fight and talking boxing while this Manny Floyd fight is going on 😆.

That he definitely did especially after the controversial head-butt before hand Joe.
The though of sitting down with someone that shares the same boxing interest is quite pleasant.
A beer and the fight with a friend is always a good thing.

Never mind that fight I almost forgot about the one this Saturday, don't no how I forgot but shit I cant wait for it
Karl Frampton's fight vs Avalos is one im truly excited for rocky especially with Framptons background of being from my home city.
Its been awhile since a guy from Northern Ireland in this weigh division has come through the ranks to deserve what frampton is fighting for.
I tip Frampton to win this one also due to the fact that he has one serious nature of a trainer and manager in Barry and his son.
What better way to be coached and lead forward than to have an ex champ giving u pointers and tips as well as the repertoire of barrys son controlling fitness.
Both boxers can bang, they ar heavily skilled with a high fitness level.
If you ask me Framptons unstoppable as he's no where near his prime.like this guys a champ and his skill set hasn't been completely nurtured to his full extent.Avalos has everything to prove here and I think hes gonna have a very tough time doing so.
