It would be good to make higher ranks participate more but it is a lot to police and would make the enforcer appear to be a dick, I imagine

So it's up to lower ranking officers to keep 1 Star Generals from getting promoted because of post counts each month ...how about that for some good ole' rivalries and battles? ..... I can't wait lol ...

I'm not an officer but I'm fairly confident I can play defence and block unneeded promotions.

These high ranked members at one point were very active and most more active than me... I don't like having post requirements but I have had them before in the past ... results were mixed and I want to try something new this time around with this incentive for being the top poster of the month ...

I might make it where you need at least 500 posts per month to be eligible for top poster of the month ... I will determine that for the new year at the end of December by looking at averages through the year and what I get out of you guys this month ....

I didn't really mean high ranking. What I was poorly leading to was that in the time that I have been here there are some guys that post on a regular and there are some guys I have never seen post. The only reason I know they are members is because I look at the roster. Now I know some of these guys are out serving our country and can't post. looking at the roster you can see the last time they were active, for some it's been a long time. I guess all I'm saying is the more people post the better we get to know them the more of a tight nit family we become and the better the site becomes. My thought was some like 15 posts a month to keep an active status. This would not apply to active duty. By no means am I saying kick anyone but maybe a one rank demotion untill you have been active again on the site. As I type this I relize that would be a lot of work. But what I think it would do is open some high rank spots for guys that are very active on the site. I maybe way out in left field here and I understand if I'm told to shut up. Lol
