I was thinking of giving the top poster every month a promotion for leading all other posters ... the winner of any given month would not be able to go for it again for another 3 months to give others a chance ... so if the same guy is top poster the next month the person right behind him gets the win ... know what I mean ...?

So it's up to lower ranking officers to keep 1 Star Generals from getting promoted because of post counts each month ...how about that for some good ole' rivalries and battles? ..... I can't wait lol ...

I'm not an officer but I'm fairly confident I can play defence and block unneeded promotions.

I didn't really mean high ranking. What I was poorly leading to was that in the time that I have been here there are some guys that post on a regular and there are some guys I have never seen post. The only reason I know they are members is because I look at the roster. Now I know some of these guys are out serving our country and can't post. looking at the roster you can see the last time they were active, for some it's been a long time. I guess all I'm saying is the more people post the better we get to know them the more of a tight nit family we become and the better the site becomes. My thought was some like 15 posts a month to keep an active status. This would not apply to active duty. By no means am I saying kick anyone but maybe a one rank demotion untill you have been active again on the site. As I type this I relize that would be a lot of work. But what I think it would do is open some high rank spots for guys that are very active on the site. I maybe way out in left field here and I understand if I'm told to shut up. Lol

i can see your point, it was put across much clearer in the above post.

i do agree that members with rank should be more inclined to post on a more regular basis. it is after all one of the requirements to gaining one of these afore mentioned positions. makes sense that a member should be expected to continue posting. even if only in a reduced capacity
