I'm a Support class fanatic. I love being the guy with ammo and running around supporting my team, even if I don't get all the kills. The Enforcer is taking up for the Support in Hardline and I payed more attention to it more than the other three. The loss of the LMG as a primary and can only be picked up as sort of a "power weapon" from the trunks and beds of the vans and cars is devastating to me. I love my M240B near me at all times. Even right next to me in bed at night. However, coming at it from the standpoint of Hardline, setting, and a good fraction of my friends being Law enforcement, LMGs aren't widely used in day to day activity. Once every now and then, but not day to day bank robberies or hostage situations, ect. Same to be said with the RPG not being in the Mechanic Class.
From what I could see, it looks like Shotguns will be exclusive to ONLY the Enforcer class which could be a good and bad thing. I may turn and rock the shotgun from now on, we'll see. So odds are, we will see a lot of players, new and old, playing as Enforcer. However, with only one class getting it, it cuts down on the options and strategy of the rest of the team..that is, if everyone wants to run a shotgun. For that reason only, I'm glad that shotguns are exclusive to one class. Sorta forcing people to really choose between balance, or all out enforcer on everyone. You get what i mean.
Ammo Box, I will have one, no shit. The ability to walk up and take ammo will be a huge relief for me and you. I will still toss, throw, give, care package, it too you. Even with a Big red bow on top, if you ask nicely. However with the extended range of gadgets now usable. I may care a grappling hook or zip line. Or maybe just say fuck it, and adapt to every situation. C4, however, will always have a special place in my heart. Even if it is sitting on a snowmobile that conveniently just happens to be right next to me as I run past...Actually its now called Breaching Charge. Go figure.
I will still find it funny to see someone beg for ammo from an enforcer running around with a shotgun, grappling hook, and riot shield. But no ammo. Speaking of riot shield, it actually does what i wish it did in BF4. It rides on your back and acts as a "turtle shell" when not in use or in the prone position. Interesting if you ask me.
Looking at the other classes, briefly, it looks like they made the Professional (Recon) Class actually what I believe it is supposed to be: long range and up close and personal without of the in-between. Sniper rifles with DMRs, and auto pistols. I already hate the 93R and G17(?), they just had to add 2 more...On too the Mechanic class, the RPG is gone as equipment, but can be picked up in the trunks of cars. The use of the repair torch may be less now, but we'll see. Can always use them on pesky snipers...hehehe. The Operator class (Assault) will be fun to watch having the standard medic bag, grenade launcher, and epi-pen (defibs). Though it looks as if the epi-pen may only be single use, or maybe just a few and thats it...Choose who you revive wisely, ehhh? (Me right?) However, Operators will get the Satellite phone (Spawn Beacon). Taking it from the Professional (recon) class. This will be fun to see as it does take up a gadget spot.
If I see anything else that I can talk about, I'll comment. I'm doing my own research.
......Can't believe I typed all that.....
