I know I'm a bit late on this, But that sucks man. Theres no words any of us could say it to make it all better again. My grandfather passed away about 2 months ago, so I know how it feels, trust me. I look at those older people as fountains of wisdom, while others get annoyed with them and just pass them by without even thinking of the cool and awesome shit they've experienced in their long lives. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. Time is your greatest friend. It will all get better in time.

That's very saddening Sgt bear. I'm sorry your family had to go through that. If I would've been a CAG DOGG sooner I would've lowered to half mast. My grandfather was also in the Pacific during ww2 and it's not looking to good for him either. These old bad asses deserve nothing but respect and so I do send a salute to yours. Hope all is well.
