Interested In Streaming

I am interested in streaming from my XBone and PC. I am curious as to what all I would need and what is some better quality products. Software, hardware, capture cards, microphone, etc.. Any help is appreciated

The new Elgato capture card it a must. It records in 1080 p at 60fps. I would recommend you check out some streamers on twitch. I know guys like kyr sp33dy and Jahova list all their equipment on their home page of their channel. As far as other equipment it is going to depend on how serious you want to be. I belive you also have to pay twitch a service fee each month for the premium service. Hope this helps.

I need to buy a separate video capture device which you plug your 360 In to. On next gen the need for this equipment is not needed for basic capture of a short clip

Hell, next gen you can just broadcast by saying "xbox broadcast" as long as you have the twitch app

Your gonna need some high speed interwebs that won't throttle you. Everyone likes elgato cards. It should come with all the necessary wires. You'll need editing software if you plan on making videos for YouTube which can be rather expensive. As far as Mics people like the blue yeti's, I see that name a lot. How you capture in game audio, like party or game chat, is beyond me.

live streaming is not for everyone. If you want to have a good channel you first will have to come up with some cash. the equipment needed is not cheap the better you want your stream the better you equipment has to be. The next thing is time. No one becomes famous over night. Be prepared to not start making money for a long time I know some streamers that took well over a year before they saw any income.

Like Reaper said, it takes time and effort. Coming someone who used to have a youtube channel and partnership and blah...Streaming wise, you need good internet, possibly a snowball mic or a decent mic, hd webcam, hd pvr or and elgato...I would start as a youtuber first before streaming...

Livestream is also a decent site. I dont think it costs anything either. I sued to stream WoW and never paid a dime. It could have changed since then, though.
