Well here i sit at the Baltimore VA hospital waiting and waiting. Though they provide services free of charge to us vets that should not give then a reason to be rude and not move with a purpose. I swear they act like we owe them something. But anywho....Back in April of 2013 i had my first hernia surgery which was one of the most painful things i have ever been through. An incision of 6 i ches was made from below my belly button towards my right hip. Then 6 months later i had a repeat surgery on the right side. Now here i sit again with one on the left side. I am 34 years old with the body of a 70 year old. My knees are shot since i have had a total of 6 knee surgeries between both knees. I have a permanetly pinched nerve in my neck, my right ankle is almost locked in one position from a botched surgery. The list goes on and on. I volunteered for this back in 1998 when i decided to join theMarine Corp and guess what if I could go back and do it all over again i would change nothing! I love the corp and what it has taught me and i love all my brothers and sisters in arms.
So i want to say thank you to all the vets and those still serving we have a permanent bond that some will never understand. I just wish those who serve us had the same feelings that we have. Semper Fi!
