Good morning CAG and welcome to all you new recruits who have taken the initial steps to join this illustrious Clan better know as CAG. CAG has a very good reputation and is well known, I mean 2 years running as the number one clan on top100clans.com says a lot.
It can be very confusing coming into a new clan especially if you have never been in a clan, or have been in other clans who operate in different ways. Here at CAG we love to have fun and enjoy gaming with each other. In my opinion these are some of the best players I have had the opportunity to play with. When you play with people who are great and better then you it allows you the chance to up your game which makes you better.
One thing that makes this clan so great is effective communication. I want to share two quotes with you new recruits.
"Speak when you are angry -- and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret."
In other words if your upset or need to vent you can vent to me and together we can figure something out. I am not your squad leader or fireteam leader but I served for 14 years in the military and have been blessed with the chance to lead Marines and mentor them as well.
“Don’t be embarrassed by your failures. Learn from them and start again”
Now this quote can mean so many things and can apply to so much not just in game but in life. In game we can never rely on a handful of people to win, it is a team effort. To be a team mean effective communication, learning callouts, learning the maps. telling someone where you were shot from. Also watching killcams, especially in core. You can gain a lot of knowledge from killcams. By watching them especially when you have to wait 10 seconds to respawn you can switch to a teammate and watch around him to try and assist.
Here in CAG we do not care about your k/d ratio, we care about having fun and winning and if we are all on the same sheet of music communicating effectively then your k/d will go up naturally, and the wins will fall into place. This is a new game and there are going to be bumps in the road, but this is expected. In COD Ghosts, we were unstoppable and it got to a point that other teams would drop out of a match because they did not want to play against us. This was all achieved through effective communication and knowing where each other was on the map at all times even with no SATCOM in the air.

One thing we do frown on is breaking that chain. Under no circumstances should you be contacting CAG Cheechdog unless directed to by someone. Sometimes it may take a higher up to make a command decision on an issue, but like the military here in CAG we have a way to go about that and this is by using the chain of command.
