What Phone Do You Have And Why Do You Like It?

I just opened up my shiny new iPhone 6 Plus and got er goin today. My goodness godly graciousness do I love this phone. I know I look like a douche walking around holding this phablet but it's totally worth it. The screen size makes watching videos actually plausable (I had a 5s that I sold a few weeks ago) and the battery life DESTROYS. It still fits in my pocket well and even while driving I didn't have that much trouble using it with one hand with minor help from the other hand (I usually don't toot my own horn but I'm a badass driver and phone user, you have to be when you're a farmer

I realize I'm an Apple fanboy mostly because I have so much invested in the iTunes Store and the Apple ecosystem (Apple TV, airport express, Mac Pro, etc) but I respect that the android phones have a lot to offer, my most coveted being a removable battery.

I'd like guys to chime in on what they have and why they likey!

I have the 6 plus I got it about a week after it came out. I've had every iPhone that's came out and this one is nice. And I talked to otter box yesterday and they said the case comes out on the 30th.

Do you have an Airport Express Blame? So you can play tunes wirelessly? I love this function. Everyday when I get home from work BOOM I flip on my tunes in like 5 seconds. Badass!

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ... I love this fucking phone for what the iPhone 6 now has lol ... funny how iPhone is supposed to be so damn advanced yet they are just barely coming out with a screen size like the i6 plus which is what the SG Note 3 is and was 5 years ago lol ...

I used to have an iPhone, hated the piece of shit phone ... I don't trust "the cloud" and I would never store anything in a server which didn't belong to me or I had control of which is what the iPhones have ....

On iPhones you can't surf the web and be on the phone at the same time, or be on the phone and get pictures sent through text messages unless you are off the phone ... it is a complete fuck up on apple's part not allowing you to do this .... Then you sometimes don't have complete compatibility with text messages with every type of phone especially most Droids which is another fuck up on Apple's part ...

Way too many things that Apple does with iPhones that are just mind boggling .. I had my iPhone for 3 months and returned it for a Droid and never looked back ...

you can't even store music on that icloud and i don't have enough room to update it with all that music haha. i was lookin and i was like what the fuck good is 20GB of wireless storage and you can't put the shit that eats up 3/4 of my memory

So if I understand you correctly, the fucking icloud is ass lol ... and that's the problem with iPhones, they brainwashed people to think that you should use it for or as a fucking music player more than anything ... I don't have 1 fucking song on my phone because that is not what I want my fucking phone for ... I use it to communicate, to text, to occasionally surf the web when I am taking a shit and I need to post on the forums and in the past to check out facebook but then those fucking idiots wanted to invade your fucking privacy and now Apple is letting hackers hack the shit out of people's phones ...

To each their own, I don't like anything apple, I do web design and that is not enough for me to ever get a fucking MAC .... Apple and Microsoft want to make one device to handle everything and it's just not working out at all ... yeah those of you who like apple and squirt over an iPhone love your iPhones but the fact is a phone should be used as a phone not as a media device ...this is why mobile carriers are charging so much for data now because of this very reason ... If I want to listen to music I will listen to it at home or in my car , I don't need a fucking iPhone to have music lol ...

I think a few things might have changed since you had an iPhone. While on a phone call I can hit it to speakerphone and then hike up safari and search the web. You might have been on like iOS 5 or something before they had this function. Im not sure about being on the phone and getting picture texts. Most of my communicating is through iMessage, kik, or whatsapp now. I'm from Canada and I have lots of American friends so we all use data based messaging apps because texts are like a good 25 cents each cross border.

No question Samsung has had bigger phones for longer. My one friend had a note 3 and loved it but he said the service wasn't great with it which is also vital to me because I am in the middle of nowhere and need a good radio in the phone as we have to use boosters all the time.

One function of the cloud is my favourite. My bookmarks and favourite sites sync between my phone and Mac Pro which is nice. You can probably set this up with Chrome as well.

AirPlay was big when it first came out but now Bluetooth has caught up and you can virtually do the same thing with it. Although wifi has a little better distance and with your laptop you can play the same music through multiple stereo systems, which I've used at a few parties in my apartment lol.

Sometimes I wish I had a Samsung strictly because you can set it up so you never have to plug your phone in, just always have a battery charging....

Oh you know it Nesty !!! This is exactly what forums are for, to discuss anything and everything... Forums in the days of the Romans and Greeks were civil gatherings in civic forums which were huge which is why forums are now called forums ... many people from around the areas came together to discuss everything ...

My G/F has the iPhone 5 still and she can't surf the web and make calls at the same time ... I know others who have iPhones too and can't do it ... yes maybe on the new iPhone 6 you an now but I know for a fact on the iPhone 5 you can't ...unless it due to carrier restrictions ...

It's like 100 bucks and it hooks into your existing wifi. It has a 1/8 inch headphone jack on it so you can plug in computer speakers or whatever stereo you want. Then when you're connected to wifi you can go to the control centre on your phone and play music or the audio from videos to it. Pretty slick, it's what I'm using when you hear my music in my apartment lol.
