i do want my phone to be a media player though because i hardly call/text/facebook/whatever i'd prefer it mostly for music. i like that much more than any of that other shit but i already have all dem songs and i can't carry them to any other phone so i'm kinda fucked. its whatever tho

You can actually put the songs you buy from iTunes onto any Android phone all you have to do is drag and drop the actual mp3s. You won't get any of your playlists but it's still doable.

I got a blackberry curve. Don't use my phone much but as long as I've got something to use for calls I don't mind what phone it is as long as I can talk to people on it

I have the Galaxy Note 3 also...it's a brilliant phone or phablet if you will. I consume a helluva lot of media and this handset satisfies my need more than adequately. Love it.
